Student of the Academy of arts. Received medals: in 1846 – 2 silver; 1847 – 1 silver; in 1848 – 2 gold for the "project of the Church"; in 1849 1 gold for the "project of the dock with the stock exchange, customs and warehouses"; in the same year – the title of the artist XIV class. In 1850 was sent by the pensioner of Academy of arts abroad. In 1858, the title of academician for "sketches and drawings of the Alhambra". In 1862, recognized as honorary member for free brought them the model of the Alhambra. While in Spain, studied Moorish architecture and made models of the best halls of the Alhambra: de las dos hermanas (the two sisters), hall Abencerrajes etc. This collection was acquired by the Academy of fine arts and is now part of the academic Museum. Nataku, in addition to the fee to the cost of collection was assigned a life pension of 2500 rubles. for 10 years of work.
