Description of the artwork «Silk Road»

Cranes are flying south. The concept of the work is that the birds are on their long journey home and the silk gilded path draws their flight path

In Chinese, the word "crane" is consonant with the words "peace," "harmony," and "harmony.
White-headed Red-crowned Cranes are a particularly revered species in Japan.

Crane, the graceful and sacred bird in Asia, is considered a lucky symbol, representing freedom, loyalty, and vigilance. And indeed, a crane's wedge floating in the heavenly blue probably won't leave anyone indifferent. In spring it symbolizes the return of warmth, and in fall it warns that winter is just around the corner.

The Japanese crane in the twentieth century has become a multifaceted and profound symbol not only of happiness and longevity, but also of hope and faith in the world.
