Description of the artwork «Ghoul»

Soyuz-Creativity Gallery, Moscow (original picture), collection of the Russian Gallery-XXI Century magazine, Moscow (author's repetition)
A fragment of an article about the work of Alexei Akindinov:
"The author himself in an exclusive interview with" Hometown "told the story of the emergence of his mysterious style. Ornamentalism originated in the Ryazan outback.
“As a child, I spent the winter holidays in the countryside,” the artist said. - Once, having rolled down a hill, I saw a strange ring of black stone in the snow. On it was a green ornament. I took the ring in my hands, but I don’t know where it later disappeared. The following year the same story repeated. Once again, rolling down the hill, I saw the same ring, but the pattern on it was white. Do not believe it: a year later, at the foot of the same hill, a familiar ring awaited me. This time with a yellow ornament.
This mysterious story made a strong impression on children's consciousness and, probably, laid the foundation for the original style of Alexey Akindinov. The artist admitted that in memory of the amazing ring he wears a signet with black stone and ornament. This is a symbol of good luck. "
The publication of the personal exhibition of Alexey Akindinov “Under the flag of ornamentalism” in the newspaper “Rodnoy Gorod” (Ryazan) dated July 16, 2013 No. 28, p. 25. Tsv. silt. "Secret signs of Alexei Akindinov." Heading "Cultural Heritage". The author of the article is Galina Gorbunova.
