"Seagull Over the Waves" (0109)

Gull Over the Waves is a small but vibrant and life-affirming work.
The subject of the painting is simple - a white bird flying over blue waves. I wanted to highlight the bird, so I used neon pink in this work, as well as undiluted purple and blue to give a sense of contrast and color twisted to the max. The dynamics of the seagull turning around gives a sense of sharp rushing movement.
In this seagull I see the soul of a man, strong in spirit, free, clearly knowing his goals and the direction in which to move to achieve them.
