Description of the artwork «A blessed gift from the gods and the sea»

The painting Blessed Gift of the Gods and the Sea is a free copy of a spectacular and warm in perception still life with shells, wine and grapes by Hungarian artist Gábor Tóth. The artist was inspired by the works of German and Austrian authors, therefore, his first paintings were executed in the style of classicism. All works of Gabor Toth, written in a stylized under the ancient images of the technique, are imbued with a festive, light atmosphere, a sense of something warm and kind, which is very attractive to his works. The main character of the still life is, of course, a bottle of collection wine of one thousand four hundred and ninety-second year with an old label. A bunch of the sweetest grapes next to it looks appetizing, and a seashell as a symbol of fertility and abundance, rebirth and wanderings attracts attention with the pearlescent shine of its shell. Since ancient times, the shell is considered a talisman of vitality from the gods, which grants prosperity and fame, wealth and good luck. A crystal glass of red wine with an engraved image invites the viewer to taste the marvelous drink. Looking at the beautiful vintage wine and sweet grapes, how can one not think of Omar Khayyam's saying: "Do you say that we should be ignorant of wine? Nonsense! It is a marvelous spirit that enlivens us!"
A free copy of a very popular nowadays still life is painted in oil on cardboard by Tver artist Grishutina Tatiana Grishutina in two thousand twenty-second year in a small size of forty centimeters by thirty centimeters. The still life is framed and will be a great gift. It will look great in the interior of any room.
