Clowns in the yards

Work from the series "Dreams on the Streets of Moscow" in color. Unlike the graphic works, where the action takes place in the mysterious night - here it is daytime. And the girl-girl went out for a walk in the yard with her dog, she is wearing dark glasses, which suggests that she is immersed in herself and models the world she sees according to her imagination, inviting there those characters with whom she is interested at the moment. In this work, they are clowns, they are housed in one of the courtyards of Sretenka and quietly exist there. The courtyard is quiet and the clowns and the girl there quietly, Pinocchio in his basement, another - frozen on the swings, and the third sheltered behind a red curtain. But the wall in the yard opens train rushing at them, which symbolizes, life, from which there is no hiding! The train rushes straight toward the fantasy world and the girl's dream, and the wheel behind the wall seems to be leaning and rolling away, which means that there is life in motion. What is frozen in the world of illusion and sleep is doomed to be destroyed by the tireless movement of life. The work is made on cardboard and it shines through with its relief under the oil paint, which means the world of fantasy is a fragile world.
