The City, the Clown and the Sparrow

This work is from the "Secret City" series. Painted in acrylic on canvas. There are four works in this series. A female clown, somewhat reminiscent of Pierrot with her collar and a small sparrow companion, lurks behind the curtain that separates her from the Arbat, looking somewhere to the right, where under her huge collar of branches is a Moscow courtyard, from the arch of which a mysterious car drives out.
