The work is for the Luxembourg Art Prize 2021.
AUTOPORT
Volumetric writing, as an image of the flow of thoughts, gathers into a black shimmering background. This abstract writing is a habitual human condition - living in thoughts. A white egg on a black background symbolizes the birth of a personality conditioned by the flow of thought-forms.
The painting is assembled from nine canvases. The reverse side is like the nine rooms in a person's house. Each room is colored by an emotion or state - sadness, meditation, longing, peacefulness, joy, inspiration, fatigue, peace, anger. The figurines-images reflect the ability to be transparent, colored by the state, or to sink into the morass of the mind and resist, remaining trapped by thoughts. Together they form a trap of the mind.
