Kuksov Stepan Tarasovich. Born August 14, 1927 in the village. Carton of the Krasnoarmeysky district of Primorsky Krai.
In 1956 he graduated from the Penza Art College named after K. A. Savitsky.
Since 1956 he lived and worked in the city of Tambov.
In 1967 he was admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR. participant of various exhibitions. A number of his works were exhibited abroad - in Romania and Mongolia. Kuksov S.T. often painted landscapes, nature, urban surroundings, rural labor, still lifes, portraits, sporting events and much more. The artist’s works were transferred to our family in 2009, by his son Stepan Stepanovich Kuksov. The artist died in 2002, at the age of 75. But his work lives in his works
