This is a revered Belozersky image from the 13th century. Handmade. Egg tempera, on wood.
The icon was presented at the vernissage "Exciting World", the festival of popular film genres "Crystal Spring" in Yessentuki.
From the collection of icons (including this one) were printed more than a hundred giclee. Which also found their reliable red corner in the homes of the grateful audience of the film festival and, most importantly, with honored Russian actors, directors, journalists, artists of the festival.
Of course, the President of the film festival, Honored Artist of Russia Euclid Kyurdzidis and Honored Artist of France Pierre Richard were presented with handwritten icons. But all the other artists also received giclees from unique works of Svetlana Fatyanova, consecrated in the chapel of Stephan Ignatenko, a reverend elders of Kislovodsk.
There couldn't have been many handwritten works. And there were 100 guests. Not to offend anyone, with a prayer for their well-being Svetlana gave a giclee with a piece of her heart of grateful audience to the honored artists of the Russian Federation: Tatyana Vasilyeva, Viktor Sukhorukov, Klara Novikova, Fyodor Dobronravov, Olesya Zheleznyak, Natalia Mazhuga, Renata Litvinova, Olga Prokofyeva,
Olga Malinina, Alexei Sevastyanov and others.
The icon of Saint Nicholas is painted with mineral pigments on an egg. The following items were used: gold leaf, created silver, ivory, and multicolored clay.
