Vladislav Aksenov is a contemporary artist who came from the fashion industry.
Using brutal forms and ironic content, he transforms everyday objects into art objects, creating assemblages and installations that provoke reflection on the nature of relationships.
His creative journey began in his youth, and his further move to St. Petersburg became the catalyst for the formation of his unique style. The opening of the Vladislav Aksenov Fashion House was the culmination of a multifaceted experience that the artist was ready to leave behind in order to immerse himself in contemporary art.
Studying psychology and experiencing personal transformations, Vladislav forms his own language of art, exploring the boundaries of interpersonal relationships and revealing conflicts through recognizable symbols. One of the key images in his works is the doll, with which the artist rethinks human connections and mutual understanding. Using art as a ritual, he finds the sacred in the ordinary, allowing the viewer to look at everyday objects from a new perspective.
In his works Vladislav strives to make hidden psychological motives visible, using textual and conceptual code of communication with the viewer. His minimalistic color palette and emotional compositions create statements that make us think about the nature of human relationships.
