Description of the artwork «The once beautiful numbers Pi and F decided to find the Sommerfeld constant α»

A bit of abstraction, math, physics, and... anthropy.

The Sommerfeld constant (fine structure constant) α has exactly the value that allows life, including humans, to arise. If α had a different value, we would not exist.
On the Sommerfeld constant (fine structure constant) α:
"This is one of the great damned mysteries of physics: a magic number that is given to us and which man does not understand at all. One could say that this number was written by the 'hand of God' and 'we do not know what moved His pencil'" / Nobel Prize winner in Physics Richard Phillips Feynman/.
Some mathematicians have stated that there is reason to believe that the fine structure constant α is related to another mysterious number, Pi, and the Fibonacci numbers, Phi (known to artists as the "golden ratio").
