The White Sea. Before sunset

The painting was created under the impression of a walk along the shore of the White Sea. It was in November. The polar night was approaching, the daylight was very short, the sun appeared above the horizon for a very short time. Along the shore, the water froze, ice formed. During low tide, the water level dropped and the ice fell on the coastal rocks, cracked. The result was a broken surface, bizarrely reflecting the light of the evening sky...

This artwork is oil painting on linen canvas in the impasto technique.
The painting is signed by me on the front side and on the back. The edges of the artwork are painted white, the artwork can be exhibited without a frame. The painting is equipped with a cord and ready to hang. The painting will be packed in extruded polystyrene foam and cardboard for safe delivery.
