Description of the artwork «Almost complete emptiness»
The Arctic. A vast, deserted space. The big night is coming. The sun passes over the horizon low and not for long. A lonely building. It has almost collapsed... The windows are broken, the door is hanging on one hinge... The roof collapsed.... In a few years, the building may collapse, and there will be a complete emptiness. Beyond the emptiness of the tundra begins the ocean. Nature does not care about people, objects created by them, their condition. It doesn't matter if the building is good for anything or not anymore. Even dilapidated, it is beautiful in the rays of the setting sun. And after a while, the northern sun will also beautifully illuminate the ruins of this building, and then complete, absolute emptiness.
