Fruehlings Erwachen

The original name is FRUEHLINGS ERWACHEN. Artwork was made in the early spring and waiting for spring and blossoming. The name of very much "warm", "gentle" graphic work carries also to the name of work of German poet Frank Vedekind, predecessor of the German Expressionism. The subject of Vedekind's work FRUEHLINGS ERWACHEN is a growing, "spring" awakening of the young person and the first meetings of the younger generation with sexuality "riddles". In difference from the pessimist Vedekind Olga Akasi's creativity is based on feeling of positivity and harmony. The spring is a beauty. And "the beauty is an abolition of chronology and revolt against time" (M. Kundera).
