Education: Dagestan Art School, Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography.

Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Arts.

Awards: Honored Artist of the Republic of Dagestan.

Exhibition experience: the artist has a large number of solo exhibitions (Moscow) and group exhibitions (Germany, Belgium, Syria, France, Russia).

The main theme of the artist's work is, first of all, color. Creating his compositions, the artist thinks exclusively in color, which is the main means of artistic expressiveness of the image. Haji-Murad Alikhanov's painting system includes many styles and trends that have already become a classic heritage in the world visual culture. They are embedded in the fusion of his experiences and in the texture of his painting. The art of El Greco and Matisse, Vrubel and Miro, Kandinsky, the school of oriental miniature had a strong influence on the artist's work.
