Description of the artwork «Baby»

Mother, do you think they dropped a bomb? - so begins the song MOTHER by Pink Floyd from the album THE WALL.

For me this song is especially beautiful when performed by Pink Floyd and Sinead O'Connor in a live concert in 1990 in Berlin. I went around singing this song for almost a month, and I couldn't get rid of it (you know how it is? ?). And this energy poured out onto the canvas....

Canvas. Acrylic. 30x40 cm
Little Boy was the name of the bomb that America dropped on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. It weighed 20 tons and killed 70,000 people just in the first seconds after the explosion. And then, during 1945, more than 160,000 more people.
Japan is kissing America's ass. No one remembers anything anymore. But WE remember. And we know.
