Repin. He served in the army and began to work as an interior decorator in a large Leningrad enterprise. However, painting was not abandoned, and, on the contrary, actively engaged in self-education. As a result, developed his own style, became recognizable to lovers of painting and is in demand in art galleries. In 1997 he became a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Over the shoulders of the artist exhibitions in the Union of Artists, as well as in private galleries in Russia, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Ireland and France, etc. Alexeev Sergey writes works in the genre of seascape, still life and cityscape. In the matter of writing yachts Sergey has no equal. For more than 20 years Sergei has been daily honing his skills as a painter, with his inherent talent engaged in writing his favorite yachts, in the design features of which the artist understands thoroughly. Talent, skill, knowledge of the issue - all this determines the mastery of the highest class. Landscapes of his native city are marked by sincere tenderness and contemplative love of the artist. Choosing quiet, dear to the heart corners of St. Petersburg, rather than parade, replicated on postcards views of the city, brush Sergey confesses his love for the Northern Capital. Alexeev Sergey works in the technique of oil painting and watercolor. Sergey Alekseev has practically no competitors in watercolor, which allows him to be called one of the best watercolorists in St. Petersburg. Watercolor is a very complex technique, it does not forgive mistakes, because, unlike oil, you can not take a mastichin and scrape off the top layer of paint..... To create a quality watercolor requires incredible skill and inexorable precision. Sergey Alekseev is exhibited rarely, seeing no special necessity in it, from what the index of ratio of price/quality is incredibly high. This is due to the fact that the painter has a number of collectors, admirers of talent, who buy paintings of the artist directly from the studio, often taking away canvases that have not yet dried ... From what Sergei has no need to conduct an active exhibition activity ... Currently lives and works in St. Petersburg. Member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists since 2013. Sergey Alekseev's pictorial and graphic works replenish the collections of connoisseurs of painting in Russia, Ireland, France, Germany, USA, Finland.
