Leonid Tambovtsev is a St. Petersburg artist and graphic artist honoring the legacy of his father, Vitaly Vladimirovich Tambovtsev, but with his own identity. He graduated from the Stieglitz St. Petersburg State Academy of Fine Arts in 1983. He joined the Union of Artists in 1991 and switched to graphics in 1993.
