The painting "On the terrace" is written in the artist's house "Terem". Depict Kustodiev, his wife, daughter and son, sister and her husband (A. M. and V. A. Kastalsky), Babysitting. In 1925, the canvas was upside down and on its reverse side painted the picture "Russian Venus".
