Painter. Studied at the natural faculty of St. Petersburg University (1885-89), special artistic education is not received. In 1910-11 travelled with I. Myasoedova in Italy, lived in France, later returned to Russia. From 1927 to participate in exhibitions. In 1921-23 a member of the "Community of artists". Taught at Leningrad art schools in 1932-34 at the Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture. The author of landscape paintings and still-lifes, portraits – "the Boat near the Summer garden" (1930), etc.

Author of landscapes, still lifes, portraits. He studied at St. Petersburg University on natural Sciences (1885-1889). Expelled for participating in student protests. Formal art education is not received. Since 1904, moving closer to the artistic environment began to write poetry, met with S. Yesenin, but over time, gives more and more preference to painting. Important for V. Sukova had a chat with O. Braz, I. Myasoedova, S. Kolesnikov, and B. Anisfeld. Travelled in Italy, France, Germany, England. Independent career began at the age of over 40 years. In 1910-11, together with I. Myasoedova made a trip to Italy. In Paris met K. Korovin, which greatly influenced the creative leanings V. Sukova. Throughout his life, the artist gave preference to the French tradition. From 1920 he taught at the art Studio on the street Tauris. 1921 - participated in exhibitions of "Community of artists". Has been a close creative contacts with the art group "Circle" (or "Circle of artists"), although V. Sukov did not belong to any artistic associations. Since 1932 - member of the artists Union. In 1933-1934 he taught in the preparatory courses IZHSA (Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture of Academy of arts of the USSR). Many works have perished during the siege of Leningrad. Works are in the Russian Museum, the Museum of history of St. Petersburg and private collections. Mentioned in the memoirs of Pavel Filonov relating to the 1920-30 years. Died at the front in Feodosia in 1942.
