Biography and information

From 1910 to emigrate to the United States. Was part of the Pittsburgh society of artists, the new York watercolor club and the American Federation of arts. He painted landscapes, illustrated books. In 1935 he executed a mural at the motive of SV. George and the dragon for the Russian room in the University of Pittsburgh. He taught at the University of Pittsburgh. Lectured on Russian art. He was Director of the Museum of Art Carnegie. In 1936, a member of the Pushkin Committee in new York. Died in new York
