Born in Leningrad in 1936. He studied at the school of art (1952-54) and at the architectural faculty of the Leningrad engineering construction Institute (1954-60), where he studied with A. S. Vedernikov. A member of the artists Union since 1967.

Works are in the Russian Museum, St. Petersburg; Tretyakov gallery, Moscow; Museum of fine arts. A. S. Pushkin, Moscow; private collections in Russia, USA, Germany, Italy.

Born on 2 Nov 1936 in Leningrad.In 1951-54, he attended the middle art school at Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture named after I. E. Repin, and in 1954-60, the architectural Department of the Leningrad engineering construction Institute from the artist A. S. Vedernikov (1898-1975).

The metaphorical imagery of the artist's work meets its original plastic method based on the overlap and the scanning of the sonorous

color planes. Lives and works in Saint.-Petersburg.

Member of the Union of artists of the Russian Federation. Participant of exhibitions since 1960. Awarded honorary diplomas and medals of Russian and

international exhibitions.

Works are in State Tretyakov gallery and the Museum of fine arts named after A. S. Pushkin in Moscow, State Russian Museum in Saint-Petersburg and other Russian and foreign collections.
