In 1869, opened in Kharkov private art school. Nine years the school was located in various rented premises, in 1878 R. husband placed the school in his own. house (ul Sportivnaya, 6). In 1896 R. gave the school the city and was transferred to premises in City hood.-prom. the Museum (2nd floor of Novo-sergiyevskiy of the former. Sergiyevskoye (now Proletarskaya) square; the building was destroyed in the war 1941 — 1945). There is a school, received the status of city was 16 years old.
