(R. 24.12.1912(6.1.1913), Livny Orel province).

Soviet painter, people's artist of the Turkmen SSR (1964). He studied at the AI, Hvorostenko at the art school in Ashkhabad (1935-1939) and at I. I. Cherenko.

Author of thematic paintings devoted to the life of the Turkmen people, portraits.

Works: "At leisure" (1948), portrait Haltech Sapargalieva (1955), "it's still going to learn!" (1957), "the Turkmen Motherland" (1967; the last 2 State prize of the Turkmen SSR im. Magtymguly, 1968) - all in the Museum of fine arts of the Turkmen SSR (Ashkhabad).
