Born in the Poltava region. He studied at the school of the Society for the encouragement of arts in Petrograd, the workers ' art Workshops. One of the oldest charts of Kazakhstan. Original portraits of Ernest Hemingway, Pablo Picasso, Paul Gauguin, Franz Liszt, giving the generalized images of creative work. Antoshchenko-Olenev acts as a connoisseur of material linocuts, skillfully uses her artistic possibilities. Valentin Iosifovich traveled. He visited Finland, Afghansitan, India, Japan. He brought home a large number of sketches, drawings, on which appear a series of gouaches, watercolors, linocuts, which remained the favorite technique of the artist. Interesting linocuts appeared in the 60s as a result of his visit to Uzbekistan: "visit", "Favorite granddaughter", "One day in Khiva" and others. These works of the artist are characterized by high culture of performance, decorative and monumental forms.
