After graduating from the Academy of fine arts received the title of artist of painting.

In 1911 graduated from the Kazan art school.

He studied at the Imperial Academy of arts (1912-1918) in D. Kardovsky, I., restored in the reformed Academy of arts in 1921. in 1922 he received the title of the artist's work "the Prodigal son" and "still life".
