Biography and information

People's artist of the BSSR (1949). A member of the CPSU from 1965. He studied at the Moscow Vhuteine (1922-30) from A. V. Shevchenko. In 1944-48 the Chairman of the Board of the Union of artists of the BSSR. He taught at the Vitebsk art school (1931-40), Minsk art school (1948-53), the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute (1953-63), from 1963 Professor of the Belarusian theatre and art Institute. Among the students: P. V. Maslenykov, M. A. Savitsky and others. A. is the author of numerous portraits, landscapes, thematic paintings, monumental murals. Awarded 2 orders and medals.

The name has Akhremchik Republican College of arts in Minsk, which for decades considered to be recognized "forge" Belarusian art.
