Born in Nizhny Novgorod. He graduated from the Kiev state art Institute (1951-1957). Worked in the portrait genre, landscape, monumental-decorative art.

Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1961. 1957 - the constant participant of regional exhibitions. Exhibitor of zonal ("Great Volga" 1964,1974,1980,1985,1998), Republican ( Moscow 1957,1980) art exhibitions.

Solo exhibitions: Bitter, N. Novgorod 1979,1991,1997; Ivanovo, Yaroslavl, 1994; Moscow, 1997.
