Biography and information

Graduated from the Moscow School of painting, sculpture and architecture. From 1900 to 1913 she lived in Tomsk. Active member of the Tomsk society of art lovers.

Was one of the initiators of the Tomsk society of art lovers and classes of drawing and painting TALK. In Tomsk, Lydia Pavlovna came after her husband, who was first a Professor and later the rector of the Tomsk Imperial University. Bazanova lived and worked in Tomsk until 1913, went on expeditions to the Altai and Baikal, actively participated in art exhibitions. Most of her works are kept in Tomsk, in the collections of the Museum of art and private collections.
