Son Of Wincenty Balukevich.

Initial art formation has received at the Vilnius Drawing school I. P. Trutnev. In 1887-1893 he continued studying at the St. Petersburg Academy of arts under the guidance of Professor BP Villevalde. The marked success of several medals, including a large silver medal, 1893. Three years worked as a drawing teacher in Cherepovets and Ukraine.
