Biography and information

Participated in the production of the movie "Queen of spades", "the Children of captain Grant" (with J. Rivoche).

He studied at the Higher art school in St. Petersburg (1904-1905), completed his artistic education in Munich (1906). In 1905 for participation in revolutionary circles was expelled from Russia. In 1906-1914 he worked as a set designer in the theatres of Paris, Belgrade, Vienna, London. After returning to Russia, worked in the theater (under the direction of A. Benois designed the Pushkin's plays at the Moscow art theatre) and cinema. Author of scientific works in the field of technology decorative arts in the movies.
