Born in the village of Bochkarevo, now Belogorsk Amur region From 1949 to 1954 he studied at the Irkutsk regional art school at the pedagogical Department at A. P. Krylov, S. I. Vinogradov, A. P. Zhibinov, A. K. Gruenberg. Since 1955 cooperates with the East-Siberian book publishing house. From 1957 to 1960. worked as a lecturer at the Irkutsk art school. Since 1971 working as a graphic designer in Irkutsk at the creative production plant of the art Fund of the RSFSR. A member of the artists Union of the USSR since 1974
