Studied at Vladimir Serov, Piotr Belousov, Ivan Sorokin, Ivan Stepashkin.

Participates in exhibitions since 1954.

Member of the Leningrad Union of artists since 1960.

Painted portraits, landscapes, still lifes, genre and historical paintings.

One of the main themes of creativity of the 1960s and 1980s - the image of Vladimir Lenin, the history of Bolshevism and the revolutionary movement in Russia.
