Biography and information
A graduate of the Academy of arts from 1758 To 1762, was awarded a silver medal. In 1764 determined by the assistant Treasurer Golovachevsky to head the library, with the right to wear a sword. Since 1768 charged with the training of Russian grammar. In 1772 entrusted the supervision of only the library. In 1776 given a certificate of "academic freedom". 1789 mandated the teaching of history and geography. In 1803 freed from teaching; in 1804, retired from duty at the Academy of fine arts.
