Biography and information

He taught painting at the Leningrad Higher art-industrial School im. V. I. Mukhina (1947/1987).

The famous Soviet painter Alexander Blinkov his passion to fine art sold by the school (1932-1939) at the Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture the Russian Academy of arts in Leningrad (1944 — izhsa named Ilya Repin). His thesis was devoted to the heroic and romantic in those days, the subject of the Civil war (the First Cavalry at Voronezh), and his first solo "art battle" took in the Soviet-Finnish war. Then followed the Great Patriotic war and pictures of A. Blinkova "the Capture of Tikhvin" (1941-1942), "trails" (1945), "Kursk" (1957-1959), series "the Roads of war" (1964-1965) — just some of the works of an artist of military subjects. A. A. Blinkov participated in the creation of monumental works. In collaboration he performed with the panorama "defense of Petrograd", diorama "storming of the Winter Palace" (1957), "Volgograd battle" (1962). Note that in recent times it was having their advantages and disadvantages of the system of state and public orders for creation of works of art. As amended, and in the future, probably, should have the right to exist — not to give up completely at the mercy of individual personalities with tight wallets such an important national cause.
