Born in the city of Tambov. C 1950 to 1956 he studied at the Kharkov state art Institute, painting Department at the S. I. Dudnik, L. I. Chernova. From 1956 to 1969 he taught at the Irkutsk art College, among his students - A. Anosov, Mamilov, V. Jimerikin, A. talaschuk, N. Frost. From 1960 to 1964 he worked as chief artist of the city. Was repeatedly elected President and member of the urban and regional Council with ITPK HF RSFSR. He was awarded the medal of artists ' Union of Russia, Irkutsk regional Committee of the CPSU and the Executive Committee.
