Vasilyevich Bonya

Muralist. Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. He studied at the Kharkov HU (1936-1939), Kyiv HEE (1939-1950)

Born in the village of Gradizk, Poltava region. The participant of the great Patriotic war. In 1950 he graduated from the KHI, he studied under A. Shovkunenko, V. Kostecki, M. Sharonov, T. Yablonska. Honored artist of the Ukrainian SSR from 1978. Personal exhibitions took place in Kiev (1980), and Krasnoyarsk (1981). Worked in the field of easel, monumental painting and graphics. Author of thematic paintings, landscapes and portraits.
