Biography and information

Born may 10, 1922 in the village Sladka Krucinska district of Omsk region.

A member of the Union of artists of the USSR since 1956. Painter. Landscape painter, author of still lifes. Participant of city, regional, zonal, Republican exhibitions. Solo exhibitions: 1972 (Tobolsk, Tyumen, Yalutorovsk) 1984 (Tyumen, Tobolsk). Works are in museums of Tyumen, Kuyasheva, in private collections of Russia, England, USA, Italy, Yugoslavia, Poland, and Germany.

Grigory Stepanovich Bochanov was born on 10 may 1922 in the village of Sweet Omsk region. After the death of his parents was brought up in the orphanage of the village of Vasyugan. I finished high school in the Omsk region.

In July 1941, G. S. Bochanov was drafted into the Red Army. He served in the Kamchatka naval fleet, which was assigned to the coast guard Pacific fleet. Awarded the order "Patriotic war of II degree", medal "For victory over Japan".

In 1947 he went to work at the Tobolsk branch of Tyumen Association "Artist". In 1948, together with other artists took an active part in organizing an art workshop in Tobolsk, where he joined artists and veterans.

In the postwar period he painted tranquil landscapes in the manner of traditional soft valeur painting, but in the 60-ies he created a series of paintings where the emphasis is on more. Appear here evidence of the deep culture of the indigenous population of the North, the wealth of nature and - on the other hand, the signs of the "conquest" of her (in the still lifes "Taiga", "Breakfast geologists").

Now more than one hundred painter of landscapes and still lifes. Paintings collected together at solo exhibitions create a world of true, kind of. Many works dedicated to the city, its surroundings. In the last decade there were chamber works, landscapes, still lifes, written as something more touching prosvetlenie.
