Biography and information

Member of artists Union of Russia (1961), Honored artist of Russia (1983). B. in 1922 in the village of Ovsyannikovo (now virgin district of the Altai territory). The participant of the great Patriotic war, awarded with order of great Patriotic war I degree, medals "For courage". From 1946 to 1954 he lived in Biisk, worked as an artist-decorator in the urban drama.

Since 1954 lives in Barnaul. In 1971-75 he was elected before. the Board of Altai organization of the Union of artists of Russia. He was a delegate to the II and III congresses of the Union of artists of Russia, the IV Congress of the USSR Union. From 1949 member of regional, zonally, Republican and foreign exhibitions. Personal exhibition in Barnaul: 1970, 1995, 1999. Budkeev creative method was formed based on the profound study of nature, continues the tradition of Russian landscape.

In the mid-60s, the artist turned to the topic of Gorny Altai, in the 70s -- still life, landscape without losing perception of the world. Great place to work is the Mongolian theme. Budkeev created a picturesque series of architectural images of Barnaul. The lyricism, harmony -- the underlying sentiment of his works. Among his works: "the Altai. Snow" (1957), "on the Ob Pier" (1964), "Hunting still life" (1974), "the Katun rapids" (1980), "Sarantsetseg. Daughter of Mongolia" (1984), "On the Alpine meadows. Deer" (1992), "the Big water. Old market" (1993), "Mongolian Souvenirs" (1995), "the Teletskoye lake" (1995), "the House on the street Polzunova" (1995). B. works are in the collection of the State. khudozh. Born December 23, 1922 in the village of Ovsyannikovo, Tselinny district, Altai Krai. From 1940 he served in the red Army. In the fighting at Kursk badly wounded, disabled of the 2nd group. After demobilization from 1946 to 1954 he lived and worked in the city of Biysk in a Studio, then in Biysk city drama theatre, the artist-designer and head of the decorative Department.

Since 1949 involved in the regional, zonal, Republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions.

Had a personal exhibition in 1970, 1972, 1982 - Barnaul, Biysk, Gorno-Altaysk, R. p. Pavlovsk.

From 1971 to 1975 he was elected Chairman of the Altai organization of the Union of artists of the RSFSR.

He was a delegate to the II and III congresses of the Union of artists of the RSFSR, at the III Congress was elected member of the Credentials Committee.

He was a delegate to the IV Congress of the Union of artists of the USSR.

Participated in the IV Congress of the Union of artists of the RSFSR.

Has government awards, including the order of the great Patriotic war of I degree, a medal "For courage", medal "For labor valor" and others. Lives and works in the Altai region in Barnaul.
