Artist, painter, graphic artist. Born in the village Lozovata, Cherkasy oblast. Initial art education has received in the KRS. N. Murashko. He graduated from the Cracow Academy of arts (1896 – 1903). In 1906, together with Krasicki F. and A. Slastion founded the magazine "Hornet", where he published cartoons. In 1908 – 1918 he was a painter (1912 – the main artist) theatre N. Sadovsky in Kiev in 1922 – 1923 – artist of the Ukrainian drama theater. M. Zankovetska in Kiev. Engaged book graphics, painted portraits and landscapes. Works are in the namu, the State Museum of T. Shevchenko, HM of Ukraine and private collections.
