Stanislav
Alexandrovich Butorin

Born in Palekh. Member of the Union of artists of Russian Federation since 1974. Hereditary painter, son of A. N. Butorin and nephew D. N. Butorin. In 1949-1954 he studied at the Palekh art school. Teachers - F. A. Kourtev and N..Pravdin. From 1961 worked at the Palekh art-production workshops.

Was engaged in monumental painting (the Palace of pioneers in the city of Belovo of the Kemerovo region (1984)), writes icons. Themes of works: folklore, literature, genre scenes. Participated in exhibitions since 1954.

The work of S. A. Butorin stored in museums: gmpi, timing, Umgeni, SHAMS, OC Ivanovskoye, Perm state art gallery, Pgaas.
