Biography and information
Artist-engraver. He was born 13 Feb 1885 in S. Kovacina Alatyr district, Chuvash Republic.
The organizer, first Director and Professor of Alatyrskaya art-engraving school (now the Cheboksary art College). The participant of Republican and all-Union exhibitions.
Major works: a series of engravings “Chuvashia”, illustration of “Narspi” K. V. Ivanov, prints, drawings B. dehtereva to the “Child” of A. M. Gorky, prints-portraits – “M. Gorky”, “Shostakovich”, etc.
