Born in years in Palekh. Hereditary icon painter, younger brother of I. P. Vakurova. In 1900-1906, he studied in the workshop ikonopisny N. M.Safonova. Since 1906 he worked in the workshop Safonova, wrote and restored the icons. Member of artel of ancient painting since 1932. Died 5 Aug 1942, buried in Palekh. Created patterns for fabric.
