Biography and information

Engaged in painting since 1972. The first experiments in a manner expressive of abstract art made under the influence of John. Pollack and E. mihnov-Voitenko. Since 1975, creates still-lifes, compositions of items, since 1979 – the landscape, mainly urban, 1981 -1985 – portraits. Since 1987 began to develop the style of "archetypal still life". Participates in exhibitions since 1976: first, in the informal apartment exhibitions, and since 1979 in the exhibition halls, galleries. Participated in over 100 group exhibitions in Russia, Germany, Switzerland, USA. Since 1979, he organized and conducted as curator of more than 70 group exhibitions and festivals in Russia, Germany, England. Since 2000 coordinator of the project "Petersburg – Yaroslavl – St. Petersburg", held 23 exhibitions.
