He studied of Mikhail Bernshtein, Alexander Lyubimov, Vladimir Serov, Arkady Rylov.

Participant of exhibitions since 1938.

Member of the Leningrad Union of artists since 1946.

Wrote genre scenes, portraits, landscapes, still lifes.
