In 1814 he was admitted to the Academy of Arts. In 1816 - 2 silver medal. In 1817 he was dismissed with a certificate of 1 degree. Drawing teacher of the Nizhny Novgorod district school. (Kondakov)

 

 

He studied at the Arzamas school under A.V. Stupina, then In the Imperial Acad. of art. In 1816 he received a Small Silver Medal, in 1817 - a certificate of the 1st art. In the 1830s - the beginning 1840s worked in Nizhny Tagil for the Demidovs. He painted portraits, landscapes, interiors, icons. Engaged in teaching activities. Mfr. stored in the State Russian Museum, in the museum of Nizhny Tagil, Irkutsk, etc.
