Biography and information

Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

Honored artist of Russia. Winner of the Mayor's office of Moscow in 2003 for a series of works about Moscow. The student of Academy of Arts of Russia, 2003

The son of the chief artist of Latvian theater "Skatuve" K. Y. Veidemanis. After demobilization from the army he studied at the Moscow art College of Memory 1905 (1944) in V. N. Baksheev, N. B. Terpsihorova, art classes, veterans of the great Patriotic war, G. A. Candlemas, visited the Studio VF shtraniha. He graduated from the architecture Department of the Latvian State University.

Traveled a lot, went to the far East, to the North, in the Baltic States and Central Asia. Wrote the interiors of the old Russian estates: Kuskovo, Ostankino.

Wrote a series of works about Moscow of the war years. His personal exhibitions took place in 1985, 2002 and 2005 (posthumously). in Moscow in 1987 in Riga and Cesis (Latvia).

Constantly exhibited at art exhibitions.

His works are in the Museum of history and reconstruction of Moscow, in museums of Kaluga, Ryazan, Riga and Cesis (Latvia).

A large part of the artist's works purchased by the Ministry of culture of the USSR.
