Honored artist of Russia (2002). Laureate of Nizhny Novgorod award (2002). Medal "In commemoration of the 850th anniversary of Moscow" (1997). Born in Gorky in 1956. Graduated, finished the art school (1971-1975) and Kharkiv art-industrial Institute (1975-1980). Works in the genre of portraiture, urban landscape, still life and genre paintings. Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1985.

1977 - the constant participant of regional exhibitions. Exhibitor of zonal ("Great Volga", 1985, 1991, 1998, 2003), Republican (Moscow, 1980, 1984; Leningrad, 1983; Baku, 1984), all-Union (Moscow, 1977, 1978, 1982, 1985; Baku, 1981), national (Moscow, 1997, 1999 (2), 2000 (2) ) foreign (Malta, 1990, 1991; Sri Lanka, 1991; Cyprus, 1994; Malaysia, 1996, 2001, 2002; Canada, 1995) art exhibitions. Solo exhibitions: N. Novgorod: 1996, 2001, 2002; Moscow, 2001; Sarov, 2003. Since 1997 he is Chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod organization of the Union of artists of Russia.
