In 1939, Gleb Verner graduated from the Repin Institute of arts in Isaak Brodsky workshop.

He studied of Pavel Naumov, Alexander Lubimov, Arcady Rylov.

Participant of exhibitions since 1939.

Member of the Leningrad Union of artists since 1939.

He painted portraits, landscapes, genre and battle paintings, still lifes.
